• Situational awareness.
• Planning for safety.
• Warning signs and trigger factors that
indicate increasing risk.
• Safe distancing and escape tactics.
• How adrenaline works against us in
threatening situations.
• Effective none physical tactics for dealing with
aggressive clients.
• Post incident: Compiling reports and updating
risk assessments to avoid reoccurrence.
• Instruction in safe physical techniques for
dealing with attempted assault.

Learning Outcomes: |

Delegates will have an understanding of the theory and practice of all aspects of safe lone working in the community.

Assessment: |
|
Delegates will complete a short assessment question paper. On successful completion of the assessment they will receive a certificate of achievement in this subject.
